Adam Campbell, Law Student

Adam is starting his legal career with Hemminger Schmid. He just finished his first year of law school at the University of New Brunswick.
Adam was raised in Lagos, Nigeria, to Canadian parents and came to Canada at the age of 16. After finishing high school in Ontario, he attended Queen’s University. After three years of study in psychology, he was offered a spot at the National Triathlon Centre in Victoria, BC.
Racing and traveling around the world sounded more interesting than school at the time, so he put his studies on hold to pursue his Olympic dreams. After four years of training and racing with the National Team, he was offered a position as the National Team manager. He organized and worked with Triathlon Canada at major international events and training camps. He also worked for and organized an international triathlon race series in Boulder Colorado and managed an online triathlon news source until starting his legal studies.
He continues to race, focusing now on marathon running and trail running. He has finished on the podium at major city marathons and has been a member of the Canadian Trail and Mountain Running teams the past two years.
He has traveled extensively throughout Africa, Europe and North and South America, is fluent in French and conversational in Spanish and is a member of the Alpine Club of Canada.
He was the co-Chair of the UNB Environmental Law Society, was a member of the Student Union Appeals Board and the x-country running team and was actively involved in the Aboriginal Law Society and Debate Club at the University of New Brunswick
He continues to enjoy promoting healthy and active lifestyles through talks, coaching and clinics, as well enjoying traveling, reading & managing social media platforms.
He hopes to continue his legal career in Victoria after he has completed his legal studies.
